Navigate to the following subkey: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Cached Mode (Note: If the "Cached Mode" key does not exist, right-click "Outlook" > New > Key to create it) . disablesyncsliderforsharedmailbox

Microsoft should consider making this the default behavior for Shared Mailbox object types. In the meantime, every admin should script this into their provisioning process. It saves hours of troubleshooting "missing email" issues. For settings related to Microsoft 365 compliance and
