Pro Tip: Never work directly from a zip file. If you save changes while the file is still "zipped," the zip archive can become corrupted, and you might lose your work.

Most users try to create a zip file by right-clicking a DWG in Windows Explorer and hitting "Compress to ZIP file." This is a mistake. A standard zip of just the drawing file often misses: Attached site plans, floor layouts, or title blocks.

Ensure you checked the "Include fonts" box in the Transmittal Setups. This is off by default in some versions but is critical if you use non-standard SHX or TrueType fonts.
