So, is Infinite a good album? By Eminem’s later standards—no. It lacks the rage, the humor, and the iconic production. But as a historical document, it is essential. It proves that even one of the greatest technical rappers in history didn’t emerge fully formed. Infinite is the sound of a man learning to walk before he sprinted.
